John Passante brings 35 years experience in human resources and organizational development experience to the podcast. He is the author of The Human Side: High-Touch Leadership in a High-Tech World, and a columnist dealing with the human side of the enterprise. Career.
John is President and CEO of The Organizational Development Group where he prides himself in helping companies increase their effectiveness by better utilizing their human capital. His storied aftermarket career includes executive positions in human resources at Monroe/Tenneco, Delphi, Moog and Car Quest.

The Book.
John’s book, The Human Side: High-Touch Leadership, is the basis for the interview. His years of aftermarket experience is referenced during the interview.

John is a member of the steering committee for the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) and for the GAAS Scholarship committee that annually grants scholarships to students studying for careers in the automotive aftermarket.

Recognition.
In 1995, Passante was inducted into the Automotive Aftermarket Hall of Fame and in August 1980, he received the University of Toledo Pacemaker Award, an award given annually to outstanding business alumni. In 1990, he received the Automotive Aftermarket Education Award from Northwood University.

Still Working.
Passante is a motivational speaker who conducts many seminars for major corporations throughout the U.S., Canada and internationally. He has published many articles on leadership, communications and motivation.
