Umm, can everyone say “passionate”?

Carman Capriotto I want to talk about getting to the kids too but from our perspective. Our BDG also is working with the high school programs ( that are left) to help the auto shop advisors get what they need. They are going to start guest teaching in spring. We also have a plan in place for elementary kids in our community to fuel their desire young. It opens in March! Our local guys are committed to being the change they want to see in our industry!

Kieth, our NAPA BDG group created three second year full ride scholarships at TMCC, our local community college for their automotive program. Since doing that in spring we have had ongoing conversations and they have restructured their curriculum to teach what we need in the field and class times to allow them to intern with us with ease. We also are piloting an apprenticeship program that is pending labor board approval out of Utah to develop others not in college. Being in touch with national thought leaders and doers here plus opening up a conversation with the right people in your community is a solid path! Great things are happening in our industry in so many areas! Developing the right people who will flourish in our industry is a must. I am inspired daily by the progress I witness around me! I am happy to share more anytime.
