I’ve written and outlined what I believe is an intellectual transformation for our auto repair service industry. Your help is necessary to solidify this new Vision, Movement, and Intention in your organization, as well as to your shop owner peers through your network and groups.
If you believe in what I’ve outlined, then it won’t be that hard of a tell to implement it. Many shop owners have made the change and created new business cards for their teams with their new titles. This can go a long way to supporting your strong culture or even helping to make it stronger. If you see the power and value in this language shift, please let me know that you have implemented it.
Remember that this is an internal dialogue change and a powerful boost of our outward image with our customers/clients. When we speak this language, there is a higher level of professionalism that resounds.
In early 2024 I did the Keynote at the MACS (Mobile Air Climate Systems Association) Training Event & Trade Show on this new standard. The feedback I received in the following days was very positive and enthusiastic about this new direction for the automotive industry.
I’m very willing to get on a Zoom call with your team or networking group to present the premise of this initiative (to tell the story). I need about 20 minutes to outline it, plus some Q&A, and then I will ask them to run with it.
