CarmCast 009: A Training Monologue
CarmCast: A Training Monologue
New Model for Training
-A fresh set of eyes is necessary.
-Young techs looking for work/life balance, paid training time and daytime.
-If shop owners commit to daytime training, the training vendors will be there for them.
-Localized group/peer training. Hire the trainer you want and split the cost.
-Training is an investment, not a cost.
-Student pay’s it forward. Re-teaches what he/she learned.
-Create a learning plan by technician.
-Hands-on will become the wave of the future.
-If no hands-on training then have your student build a case study on one specific segment of the course he just attended.
-Take your team to a regional training event.
