RR 102: Donna Wagner form Northwood

Donna Wagner is currently Chair of the Aftermarket Management Program and Professor at Northwood University. She teaches courses specific to the automotive and heavy duty parts and accessories market. Courses include product marketing, global issues, sales, supply chain and business planning.Northwood

This bachelor degree program in Aftermarket Management is the only one of its kind in the US. Students learn the all about the aftermarket at Northwood, that is known for specialty programs like the Aftermarket Degree and the Automotive Dealership Programs.

In her 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, Donna Wagner worked on the sales and marketing side of the business in various roles, including:

  • Tenneco as Marketing Services Manager
  • Wells Manufacturing as Category Manager and Marketing Manager
  • The Marx Group as account strategist/supervisor
  • Gelia Marketing Communications agency
  • The Car Care Council in various roles of increasing responsibility concluding with her tenure as president of the Council when it became part of the Auto Care Association.

Wagner earned her AAP (Automotive Aftermarket Professional) designation in 2000, holds an MBA from Bowling Green State University and a BS in Computer Science from University of Mount Union. She is a member of the Education Committee of the Auto Care Association, the Higher Education Council of the Category Management Association and the Car Care Council Women’s Board.

In her spare time Donna volunteers for The Midland Center for the Arts, speaks to industry groups and enjoys traveling and working out.
