The Declaration is out. We are embarking on a monumental change in our Job Titles in the Auto Service Repair Aftermarket. Are you intrigued? Curious? This is a crucial language change for our industry.

I realize this is a heavy lift for some, but we are making progress. It took years to get the word Technician to stick, but it still doesn’t impact precisely what we do and how we do our jobs. This is an initiative to elevate the professionalism of our industry both internally and externally. It is time for this language shift. Our clients need to see the enormous skill level required to repair today’s modern computer-driven vehicles, which require specialists to keep them safe and reliable.
